Shipping

Where do you ship your products?
Currently, we ship to Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and most of Europe. If you'd like to shop our products, but you don't see your country available at check out, please send us a message at hello@verrelune.com!

What are your shipping rates?
All shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout. International packages may be subject to customs fees, which we unfortunately cannot control, and is the buyer's responsibility to cover.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. See below for shipping time estimates, however, this can vary depending on the carrier you choose at check out:
- Ontario: 2-6 business days
- Rest of Canada: 2-10 business days
- United States: 3-8 business days
- United Kingdom: 4-21 business days
- Australia: 4-21 business days
- New Zealand: 4-21 business days
- Europe: 4-21 business days

How can I check the status of my order?
You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has been shipped. If your shipment does not arrive or you have any issues, please email us at hello@verrelune.com and we'll do our best to help you out!

Do you offer pick ups?
Yes! We offer local pick ups at Unit #114 - 302 Carlaw Avenue, Toronto, ON, which is available to select at check out. Our hours of operations are on Tuesdays from 9AM - 5PM and Fridays from 9AM - 5PM. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at hello@verrelune.com or shoot us a DM!

Our Products

What are your candles made with? 
All Verre Lune candles are made with 100% all-natural soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, naturally coated cotton wicks, and reusable ceramic vessels. For a full breakdown, see our materials page.

Where are your candles made?
Our candles are hand-poured in small batches in Toronto, Ontario. 

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free? 
Yes and yes! They’re also paraffin, paraben, and phthalate-free for the cleanest possible burn.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes! We’ve considered the environment when choosing every detail of our packaging, which is why every component is either 100% recyclable, compostable, or reusable. For a full breakdown, see our materials page.

How do I properly care for my candle?
For tips on getting the longest, cleanest, and safest burn, as well as repurposing your ceramic vessel, see our candle care page.

Always follow candle safety guidelines (outlined on the warning label on the bottom of your candle), including burning your candle within sight, on a heat resistant surface, away from any flammable materials and drafts, and out of reach from children and pets. The ceramic vessel may become hot after a long burn, so allow the vessel to cool before handling it.

Why does the wax look different from other candles I’ve used? 
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax, which means that there are no preservatives or additives. Because of this, the surface of your candle may become rough or bumpy after burning, however, this is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance of the candle! 

Returns & Exchanges

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Due to the handmade nature of our candles, we unfortunately cannot offer any returns, refunds, or exchanges. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at hello@verrelune.com.

General

Can I send my order as a gift? 
Yes! All orders already come with one complimentary cotton pouch, matchbox, and care card, but if you’d like a custom hand written message for your recipient, please follow the instructions provided in your cart before check out.

Please note that to avoid added waste, our candles do not come with individual product boxes. If you’re planning on gifting one or more items in your order, please select the complimentary gifting option in your cart and we’ll include additional sets of our cotton pouch, matchbox, and card, as needed, for easy gifting!
